UiO-66-NH2

UiO-66-NH2

UiO-66-NH2 combines the stability of the UiO-66 framework with amino functionality inside the pore system. The amine group adds polarity and can improve interactions with molecules such as CO2, making this material interesting for CO2 capture, CO2/N2 separation studies and mixed-matrix membrane development. The amino linker also changes the optical and electronic properties of the framework, which makes UiO-66-NH2 a popular platform for photocatalysis and environmental remediation research. In addition, the amino group is suitable for postsynthetic modifications. It is a strong candidate when customers want a robust Zr-MOF with more specific host–guest interactions than unfunctionalized UiO-66.
