Zr-fumarate, low defectivity

Zr-fumarate, low defectivity

Zr-fumarate, also known as MOF-801, is a compact zirconium MOF based on fumarate linkers. It is particularly interesting for water adsorption because it can take up and release water reversibly, making it relevant for atmospheric water harvesting, dehumidification, adsorption-driven heat pumps and cooling concepts. Our low defectivity version of Zr-fumarate is synthesized in DMF, resulting in more open, less defective crystals.
