Zr-fumarate / MOF-801
Zr-fumarate / MOF-801
Zr-fumarate, also known as MOF-801, is a compact zirconium MOF based on fumarate linkers. It is particularly interesting for water adsorption because it can take up and release water reversibly, making it relevant for atmospheric water harvesting, dehumidification, adsorption-driven heat pumps and cooling concepts. The use of fumaric acid as a simple, commercially available linker also makes Zr-fumarate attractive for scale-up-oriented studies where material cost and production route matter. It is a strong candidate for customers working with water-vapor management, cyclic adsorption processes or MOF shaping into pellets, coatings or monoliths.
